When are the tours?

 

We offer a 10 am and 1 pm tour each day Monday through Saturday. We are closed on Sunday’s.

 

How do I schedule a tour?

 

Tours are appointment only. Please email or call us to schedule.

 

When scheduling, please send us your name, contact phone number, group size, and date and time (10 am or 1 pm).

 

We ask for a week’s notice for a Saturday tour if possible.

What is the tour like?

Tours are guided and typically last 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on the interest of the group.  You'll get to see all of our resident animals, and the various habitats that we have on our property.  We currently have bobcats, grey wolves, coyotes, red, grey, and arctic foxes, black bear, elk, bald eagles, and various hawks and owls. We are USDA regulated, so we do not allow interactions or contact with any of the animals.

Is there a tour minimum / maximum?

Groups of 1 - 15 people will be driven in RTV carts. There is no minimum size for a tour.

Groups larger than this will be as walking tours, with accommodation for those who can't walk.

 

We allow field trips, school groups, and more. We've educated elementary age through college age school groups.  If you are visiting the Sanctuary as part of a specific learning objective, please let us know so that we can tailor your tour to that objective.  We've also lead tours for scouting troops, church groups, and retirement homes.
