Walk on the Wild Side: 7th Grade Education Day

Join Staff and Volunteers for a single-day camp program designed for 7th graders. This program will focus on native predators such as grey wolves, bobcats, coyotes, black bears, and red foxes. Activities include games, an educational tour, and a science investigation project.


Several 7th grade Next Generation Science Standards will be met through the educational material and activities.


Registration is $5 per student. Payment is required during registration.


  • Students may be dropped off between 8am and 8:30am, and picked up at 3:30pm.

  • Drop-off and Release forms will be required for parents to fill out during the drop-off period.

  • Please bring a packed lunch.

  • Registration is limited to 20 students.


Senior Keeper Valerie Rice has developed and is completing this program as part of her Masters degree through Project Dragonfly at Miami University.
